In the last few years, the Netherlands has become increasingly internationalised. Many Dutch organisations and churches have been welcoming
more and more international visitors. In most cases, these visitors are not able to speak Dutch, leading to an increased demand for interpretation during conferences
and church services. Providing a simultaneous translation service for visitors can, however, bring with it certain organisational difficulties. Heida Translation Services exists to offer a solution to these.
The old set-up.
For a long time, a typical translation set-up looked like this: one or more rows of people wearing headphones, all 'stuck' together in order to hear the translation. This had the enormous disadvantage of limited flexibility for those needing translation, plus the fact that this group therefore stayed separate from the rest and had more difficulty integrating.
For this reason, Marten Jan Heida has come up with an idea to help more and more organisations and churches to find a solution to this problem.
An efficient system from manufacturer Soyo, made available at a significantly lower price than similar products on the European market. And it doesn't stop at translation systems: more products have become available. You can find out more about these on the 'Products' page.
